about

Both compositions on 62 Eulengasse initiate with gradual, ethereal waves of sound. In the over 50-minute track, "Time Cage" substantial evolution takes place. The initial slow, melodious introduction transitions into a more somber ambiance. Throughout the darker phase, which occupies the majority of the composition, low drones establish a foundation while faint, airy wisps and somewhat celestial computer-generated sounds drift past. A subdued percussion line, reminiscent of chirping crickets, contributes to a drowsy atmosphere. Eventually, lighter or higher-pitched background elements resurface, reintroducing a more ethereal tone towards the latter part of the piece. This slowly gives way to the conclusion, where the song culminates in nothing but reverberating electronic sounds echoing in the surroundings. Every facet of the composition, including the background drones, subtle percussion, foreground melodies, and incidental noises, undergoes continual, gradual changes, enhancing the song's overall immersive quality.
"XXXX" commences with a beautiful drone backdrop and a poignant high note that evokes deep emotions. It represents perhaps the most aesthetically pleasing segment of this release. Midway through, the music transitions into a darker exploration of sound. This release encapsulates substantial musical variation, characterized by a serene, unhurried pace, contributing significantly to its overall excellence.
